WELCOME TO THE MINI-KIWILAND SHOP WEBSITE
Your Local Online Shop for Models & Miniatures
This week a new product theme is introduced (Ruined and Rusty), our Brand Top 20 has been published on our website, many new listings and the arrival of various kit sets.
Specials this week are some 1:72 scale HaT figures sets and Noch products (N and HO scale).
Oh, and a small request for positive public feedbacks...
Kiro
As mentioned in the previous newsletter, July was quite successful for us. It meant that we are back on track to move to a much larger showroom with more stock by the end of the year. However, one swallow doesn't make a summer. These are still uncertain times. The Mini-Kiwiland Shop is not yet an established name. We could use many more customers obviously.
I am looking for ways to advertise. I have tried Google and Facebook, but they have not really been successful.
As advertised and warned in TV commercials, buyers should be aware of unreliable traders when buying online. You should check reviews online and that is a bit of a problem for the Mini-Kiwiland Shop. There are no bad reviews, but there are hardly any good reviews either. On Google we only have two reviews (5 stars) and the same for the Yellow Pages.
I would appreciate any good reviews on the Yellow Pages website and Google that could give potential new customers the confidence to buy from us.

More suggestions for efficient marketing are welcome!
Many thanks,

A lot of Woodland Scenics landscaping items are on its way to New Zealand. Most landscaping items can be used for all scales. Not just 1:87 HO Scale. At this stage we can only enter one scale for each product in our database.
Below are just a few examples of recently listed items on our website:

The brands list page on our website has been changed. The page started with an alphabetical list of all the brands on our website, followed by the same list of brands in order or product quantity.
The list of brands in order of product quantity has been changed in a top 20 best selling brands list.
This top 20 best selling list is based on sales in the past 12 months and is automatically generated by the website each time the page is visited.
The top 5 at the time of writing this is:
1 - Faller
2 - Noch
3 - Atlas Editions
4 - Oxford
5 - Busch
I expect shifts in the coming months. There is a large shipment of American products such as Walthers and Woodland Scenics on its way to New Zealand. These brands are more 'mainstream' in New Zealand than the German brands, but there's also more competition.
I also expect a lot from kit set brands we just started selling. Brands like Zvezda, MiniArt and Italeri. Zvezda just made it into the top 20 and I don't think it will be long before MiniArt shows up.
Brands bubbling under the top 20 are Juweela, American Diorama and Armourfast.
