WIKING miniaturises the tank container logistics business and launches a flagship of technical advancement: With the MAN TGS, a new 20-foot tank container, whose real-world counterpart travels on roads and railways and, at times, by ship, is now finding its way into the hands of collectors. When paired with a matching trailer chassis – such as the type S.CF 30' Tank Schmitz Cargobull chassis chosen in this case – the tank containers can be transported with perfect ease. The three-axle original is designed to variably transport tank containers with a weight of up to 33,500 kg and a length of 20 and 30 feet, respectively. This makes it possible to create a host of compact true-to-prototype 1:87 combinations that strongly resemble the original thanks to the three-axle semi-trailer. The tank container is widely used both in the chemical industry and in the food industry.
