Henschel Towing Truck 1955-1961
The Henschel goes out on service calls brandishing the company colours. WIKING has miniaturised the formerly factory-designed original with countless details and an optimum level of detailing which mimics the original vehicles. The truck manufacturer from Kassel used to abbreviate the hood-less construction of the “Tramausführung” (tram design) with a “T” at the end of the model designation. The traditional model makers dedicated considerable attention to the detailing, with the Henschel front being characterised by the prominent radiator grille of the brand family with the distinctive indicated hood. The fine grille structure has been engraved in the mould, as has the prominent Henschel star and the various ornamental strips, which at one time gave the otherwise plain sheet metal value. Raised ventilation flaps are positioned on the roof, as is the optional signal light typical of the range.
