Demag AC 220-5

This Demag AC 220-5 in scale 1:50 produced for the British crane hire company Kavanagh. This series is manufactured in a limited edition, each model is uniquely numbered with a metal hook weight. With a main boom length of 78 meters, the AC 220-5 has the longest main boom length of any 5-axle crane. Besides being the tallest 5-axle crane around, the AC 220-5 is also the most compact crane in its class with a total length of 14.5 meters and a carrier width of 3 meters. Just like the AC 250-5, the 1:50 die-cast scale model of its taller brother, this AC 220-5 model includes the complete Demag AC 220-5 scale model and a detailed build manual. Our crane model is developed in scale 1:50 from high-quality die-cast metal and comes with highlights such as functioning outriggers, realistic steering, separate ballast and a Jib.

To make this model highly realistic and therefore longer than the 250t version, the boom section can be extended up to seven times.The boom can be made even longer by connecting the JIB to it. As an option, you can position the JIB in different angles.

This high-quality die-cast crane is painted in the official RAL colors and features anti-scratch coating, high-quality pad printing in official Pantone colors and fine photo-etch material for a detailed model.
