Standard Flying Twelve Fawn
It’s back to the late 1930s for the Standard Flying Twelve which was first unveiled at the 1935 Motor Show before entering production in 1937. It was considered pretty streamlined for its time with sloping back, rear side quarter lights and sloping ‘waterfall’ radiator grille. It was pretty powerful too with a 1608cc side valve, cylinder engine. The four-door saloon remained in production until 1940.
Registered CRL 882, and appearing in a biscuit shade with silver trim and copper brown wheel inserts. The elaborate radiator grille is masked silver and incorporates two low placed front lights with two more headlights fitted on the wings. The interior including the seating is also copper brown.
