The 4th book in the Classic series is on one of the fastest aircraft built during World War 2: the De Havilland Mosquito.
This all-rounder, mostly built out of wood, was equipped with a pair of Merlin engines. The combination of powerful engines, light weight and high manoeuvrability proved to be a fantastic recipe for a multi-role aircraft. This book shows the Mosquito and its different versions in close detail.

The differences between the versions and their missions are described and shown, from engines to cockpit. The latter differ quite a lot; even the controle column of the bomber versions and the stick of the later versions!
