The first time we got this chance, Gert Trachez and Kris Christiaens were happy to go to the Spanish aircraft carrier and assault ship Juan Carlos I (Primero). In this book we bring you a portrait of the action on board of the ship, both on the flight deck and below. Flying action in this book comes from EAV-8B Harrier Its, Sea Kings, Chinooks, Cougars, and even V-22 Ospreys. We also show the ships protection, the island and the assault ships, carrying military vehicles on land.
