NEW 2026 RELEASE
Ford Transit Recovery 24 Hr Recovery
The Ford Motor Company introduced the Ford Transit commercial ‘family’ of vehicles in 1965. And the brand is still going strong today, having evolved physically and mechanically along the way with numerous configurations and uses. The Transit name itself has become a generic term for small commercial vehicles and here at Oxford Diecast, we have kept up with all the changes to shapes and uses along the way.
This latest introduction is the simple Ford Transit recovery/breakdown version which features a two-door Ford Transit cab and long trailer, designed especially for rescuing vehicles from the roadside It is registered FCR 238L from 1971 so it is quite early in the Ford Transit’s evolution. Painted completely in white, the graphics clearly state in red and orange its 24 hour recovery facility. The exterior trim is black apart from the platform which is silver. The interior is also black. An additional tooling modification comprises a pyramid style roof box with an orange beacon above the cab.
