From now on, I expect a nice shipment of Japanese brands from an Asian supplier every month. This week, I received mainly Tamiya items.
All more than 300 ICM kits from Ukraine can now be ordered by loyalty discount members when they are out of stock. Please do take into account, however, that it may take at least 3 months for them to arrive.

The showroom in Paraparaumu will be closed from July 6 to July 18. I will use this break to work on improvements, particularly for the website. It will still be possible to pick up online orders by appointment. Order shipping will continue as usual.
The break will be clearly announced in July on the website as in previous breaks.
More airliner decals have been added to the website, but a lot more still need to be added.

The New Zealand brand Kotare is releasing the popular 1:32 Hurricane kit at the end of July. As a test, this set is being offered at a lower price for the first shipment to the Mini-Kiwiland Shop only: $164.90 instead of $184.90. Loyalty Discount members can already reserve this set at the lower price by using the 'special order' option.
Upcoming HaT releases (1:72 military figure sets) can also be reserved by Loyalty Discount members.

The New Zealand brand Kotare released a new kit set last week. It is currently available in the Mini-Kiwiland Shop. More Kotare kits are expected within a week.
More than 350 HaT military figure sets can now be ordered via the 'special order' option by Loyalty Discount members when they are out of stock. A shipment of HaT arrived last week. The next one is expected in about 4 weeks.
A few hundred decal sheets for 1:144 airliner kits have arrived. It will take some time before these are all available on the website. With these decals, you can transform kits from Revell, Zvezda, Airfix, etc. into the airliner of your choice.
Currently, 20 different decals can be found on the website for airliners such as Air India, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Transavia, Cathay Pacific, Scandinavian Airlines and more...
I plan to place an order with Victrix in the UK (historical 28mm figures for wargaming).
If you are interested in specific sets, please let me know. Especially sets that are not yet on the Mini-Kiwiland Shop website. Please do mention catalogue numbers.

I have received a remarkable amount of feedback regarding my intention to automatically remove items from watchlists if a user has purchased an item from a watchlist.
The plan is to actually implement this. However, users will receive an email when this happens, with the option via a link to add the product in question back to the watchlist.
This requires some programming work and testing. This will likely happen in July, when I take a break from the showroom.
Currently, active users have added over 13,000 products to watchlists. This gives me very valuable insights into what is and isn't in demand. It is therefore important that those watchlists are up to date.
An active user is someone who has logged into the website in the past 12 months.
Note: If a user has not logged in for more than 12 months, the account is considered inactive. This means that no more notifications and newsletters will be sent. Incidentally, this is an important Google recommendation for keeping a web server's spam reputation low. Many websites do this, including TradeMe.

I am considering removing items from a user's watchlists as soon as that item on a watchlist is purchased on the website or in the showroom. I notice that many users leave certain products intentionally on watchlists after a purchase, but I am not entirely sure why.
On the other hand, removing them saves users extra work.
If this automatic removal is objectionable, please let me know.
Thanks,
Robert
