GERMAN TANK MAUS

DESCRIPTION

German superheavy tank "Maus"

Unpainted kit set

The development of super-heavy tank Maus was started by Ferdinand Porsche in 1942. As a result, two prototypes of that tank were built. They were passing the tests in 1944 ' early1945. Production of the Maus was never started. In April 1945, due to the Red Army approaching to testing range, both prototypes were blown up. Nevertheless, one captured Maus was rebuilt. After that, it was transported to the testing range in Kubinka near Moscow for storage, where it is now on display.
