DESCRIPTION

UNITED AIRLINES BOEING 787-9 DREAMLINER

With the acquisition of the first 787-9 in September 2014, United became the first North American airline to operate this stretched variant of the Boeing Dreamliner. The 26 units ordered are to be used mainly on long-haul routes. The first such flight from Los Angeles to Melbourne last October was also the longest scheduled flight by a Dreamliner to date.
