HOW TO PAINT WWII GERMAN VERHICLES

DESCRIPTION

How to Paint WWII German Mid-War Vehicles SOLUTION BOOK 21 (Multilingual Book)

Soft cover, 67 pages with high-quality full-color photos and profiles.

Camouflage was a key feature that distinguished German WWII vehicles from allied vehicles, apart of course from the manufacturing, construction and combat values. Extremely innovative and visually diverse masking patterns appeared on the tanks and AFV’s of the Wehrmacht and the Waffen SS, particularly in the middle and late stages of conflict. These interesting and unusual patterns are one of the main reasons for continuous interest in this subject among military modelling enthusiasts. A favorite are the characteristic two and three-tone patterns with an endless number of combinations of shapes and the proportion of colors used, it is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for subsequent modelling projects

The base color used by Germany from 1943 to paint their vehicles was a dark yellow Dunkelgelb RAL 7028. This color has several variants. Various patterns of green- and brown-colored patches and stripes were applied over this base color. The first was RAL 6003 – Olivgrün and the 2nd was Schokobraun – RAL 8017 – with these 3 colors you will be able to paint almost any camouflage pattern found on German mid war equipment. The wide range of products that you will find in the SOLUTION BOOK have been specifically selected for applying all weathering effects visible on vehicles operating in Europe, such as the Panzer III y IV, Panther, Tiger, King Tiger, StuG III y IV, Jagdpanzer IV, Jagdpanzer 38 Hetzer, Jagdpanther, Nashorn, Marder II, Wespe, Hummel, Sturmtiger, Sturmpanzer IV Brummbär, Sd.Kfz. 250, Sd.Kfz. 251, Sd.Kfz. 221, Sd.Kfz. 222, Sd.Kfz. 223, Sd.Kfz. 234 and many more.
