DESCRIPTION

Borgward Isabella Coupé, 1958

Introduced to the public in 1957, the Borgward Isabella Coupé soon became a true symbol of prestige for the manufacturer. A myth already in those early years, the Isabella Coupé with its formidable design is now a very rare and sought-after collectors item. Face-lifting details in 1958 showed a smaller front emblem and the lettering on the sides were moved to the front of fenders.

The H0-scale model is a true masterpiece just as the original and consists of 30 separate parts. The body alone consists of three different sections: lower part with bottom, fenders and doors, upper part with hood and storage compartment and the roof section. The interior is divided into seats, dashboard and steering wheel of different color. All 16 chrome parts such as side and hood mouldings, headlights, windshield wipers, bumpers and rims are realistically crafted. Borgward inscription is placed on both fenders in detailed print. The coupé has white-side-wall tires and comes in two different color patterns: purple red body with tan interior or ivory body with red interior.
