Because, here, almost everything is still the same as when Johanna Spyri was inspired by this area and wrote her book: the original Heidi house, the goat stable, the village well and village store. A footpath next to the house leads up to the Alp where Heidi spent her most beautiful years with her grandfather. More information can be found at: www.heididorf.ch.
