Like the VW Beetle, the Citroen 2 CV was also developed back in the 1930s. More than 5 million units of the French 'people's car' were manufactured during its production period of 1948 to 1990. While an early 'duck' with its 9 PS could still achieve a top speed of around 60 km/h, later 2CVs with 29 PS were capable of as much as 115 km/h. 1:64 models come with a metal body and chassis. In addition to the prototypical wheel rims, the Schuco 1:64 models stand out due to the many lovingly detailed components.
