A new milestone for the Mini-Kiwiland Shop: Newsletter number 250!
A great opportunity to explain the current situation of the Mini-Kiwiland Shop.
The sale of online orders continues to increase. This makes it even more difficult to combine mail order with the showroom, unfortunately.
In February I had already shortened the opening hours of the showroom to free up more time for mail order. This has improved the situation, but I'm afraid it's not enough.
At the moment I have no intention of shortening the opening hours of the showroom further or even closing it.
I expect that the online sales will continue to increase. Hopefully, this makes it possible to hire staff at some point within a few months.
Extra help will also free up more time for other activities that are currently difficult for me. Such as improving the website and looking for new brands/suppliers.

The current location is unfortunately not ideal as many visitors notice, but I had no choice after the eviction of the previous building. The two-year lease here expires in 4 months. It looks like it will be renewed. Only if I can find a better property within 3 months will I give up this location. I would prefer to move to the Hutt Valley, but that is quite unlikely. I have not been able to find any suitable option for a long time already.
