Russian greatcoat was thicker than German and better protected the wearer from cold. The ushanka hat could be worn under the Ssh-40 helmet. Basic unit of Soviet infantry was detachment consisting of 11 men. Soviet infantry was armed mostly with 7,62mm Mosin rifles.
