Soviet Fighter YAK-3

Unpainted kit set, 127 parts, 177 mm long

The first serial Yak-3's were sent to the Soviet 91st Fighter Aviation Regiment of the 2nd Air Army in 1944. The light and maneuverable Yak-3 quickly gained popularity and became a symbol for the Soviet air force in WWII, just like the T-34 was a symbol of the Soviet tanks.
