DESCRIPTION

The Bloody Hundredth 1943

Limited edition kit of WWII US four-engined heavy bomber aircraft B-17F in 1/48 scale.

The box contains decals and additional plastic parts for the aircraft of the famous 100th Bomb Group, known as "The Bloody Hundreth" flown during 1943.

Symbols and markings used in connection with this kit are officially licensed by the 100th Bomb Group Foundation.

This is a kit of an unassembled scale model. To build the completed scale model, it is necessary to use modeling tools, glue, putty, paints, and other resources that are not included in the kit.

THE KIT CONTENTS:

- Plastic parts – HK Models B-17F Flying Fortress 1/48
- Extra sprue for 2 alternative B-17F nose variants, including astrodome and cheek gun windows, developed in cooperation with HK Models using Eduard design. New mould, first release.
- Photo-etched details (dashboard, small cockpit details, seatbelts, engine details and gunsights) and die-cut masks.
- Eduard Brassin B-17F exhausts and superchargers.
- Decal sheet featuring 7 markings of B-17Fs from the 100th Bomb Group, spanning from 1943 to 1944.
- 100th Bomb Group (H) commemorative metal pin (25 mm diameter).
