The automatic shipping cost calculation on the website has been improved. The system can now calculate shipping for a combination of multiple products that fit into a $7.50 NZ Post bag; previously, this feature only applied to single-product shipments.
Note: This works only when the dimensions of all products in the shopping cart are entered in the database.
A $7.50 NZ Post bag holds approximately 20 standard paint bottles (e.g., Vallejo, ATOM, Army Painter).
Additional charges apply for rural delivery.
This means you will less frequently need to wait for a separate email regarding shipping costs and payment instructions.
The above does not apply to the Wellington Region or Palmerston North (City), as a flat rate of $6.50 applies there. You will always receive the total amount, including shipping costs, immediately upon placing an order.
Further work is required to ensure shipping costs are always displayed instantly. This is also necessary to facilitate immediate processing for a future electronic payment system on the website.
