I am considering organizing 'open office' in Paraparaumu. During these days it is possible to visit our office without an appointment and to browse through our range. Just like a store. See 'Open House' below for more information.
New arrivals last week included products from Noch, Kibri, Vollmer, Oxford, Atlas Editions, MiniArt and more ...
Specials this week are HO scale models by Brekina and Ricko.
NOTE: Some 'subscribers' may not receive this weekly newsletter from next week. See 'Website Improvements (15)'.

I am considering turning our office into a shop on certain days: Open Office Days.
Currently, most of our inventory is in a storage facility one block from our office. The stock has become so large that it simply no longer fits in the office. Each 'Open Office' will have to be for a specific range of our selection. Such as only HO scale, military figures / sets or diecast collectibles.
To decide which range of products and which days to organize such open days, I need some feedback, like:
- What day (s) of the week would you consider visiting an open office? Friday, Saturday, Sunday, etc.
- Which part of the day is most suitable for you? Morning, afternoon or evening.
- What scale would you be interested in? HO, N, G, 1:72 etc.
- What kind of product would you be looking for? Trains, cars, planes, figures, etc.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated. It could be a first step towards organizing larger events or which direction to look in when we decide to move to a larger venue / showroom.
An online poll would have been better, but unfortunately I don't have time to set up a poll right now. Feedback can be given by simply responding to this newsletter.
Thank you very much!

In order to improve the spam reputation of our website, I already announced in Newsletter 13 that subscribers need to register and activate their account on our website to continue receiving the newsletter. This is essential to comply with the rules of providers such as Google and to prevent emails from ending up in spam or junk folders. See, for example, Google Bulk Sender Guidelines.
However, registration is not the only necessary measure. Registered accounts must also remain active.
One way to check if the account is active is to keep a log in history. This is something I hadn't looked into until I read Google's guidelines. The last login details are now stored on our web server to check if accounts are active, yes or no.
This is currently set at one year. This means that if an account is inactive for a year, no newsletters will be sent to the email address associated with that account. This does not mean that the account will be blocked or restricted. It just means no newsletters anymore.
Because I only started monitoring the latest login data from the beginning of July, the web server will determine all accounts without any login data (before July) as inactive. Some accounts may have been inactive for years. I don't know and so does the web server unfortunately.
This doesn't affect many subscribers, but I think it's worth noting. Just in case.
